Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her help and dedication to improving upon South African Social Security Company (SASSA) services throughout an engagement along with the company's senior professionals at a strategic planning session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric examinations.
In the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for your National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% of your registered pupils from the schooling sector.
These learners accomplished a commendable pass rate of 86%.
